Turkey is a country rich in traditions and customs. One of the most important traditions is visiting the Turkish hamam. Many guests love this procedure so much that every year when they visit Turkey, they make sure to get a Turkish bath. It is not only relaxing but also very beneficial for the skin and health. However, if you have any contraindications to high temperatures in the Turkish hamam, it is advisable to consult your doctor. It is important to drink plenty of water before and after visiting the Turkish hamam.
After being picked up from your hotel in comfortable vehicles, you will arrive at a building designed in an oriental style with many different rooms. Each room has its own purpose, and all are necessary for providing the full range of services that make up this tour.
There are several procedures in the hamam. First, you need to warm your skin to open the pores, moisturize, and soften the skin to make the scrubbing easier. To do this, you will pass through several rooms such as the sauna, steam room, salt room, and Turkish bath. The air temperature in these rooms can reach up to 40-50 degrees, allowing you to sweat well. Afterward, you can take a shower and move to a room with a marble slab in the center. The temperature of this slab is close to your body temperature. Lying on it, professionals will perform the scrubbing with a glove called "kese" to remove the dead skin layer. Then, experts will apply foam to your body using a special towel and perform a foam massage. After you wash again and dry yourself with a towel, you will head to the massage room. Here, masseurs with years of experience will give you a relaxing full-body massage. You will relax here and relieve all your stress. After the main massage, you can extend the massage with a specific inclination for an additional fee.
